Tim + Amy celebrated their wedding ceremony at the Sunshine Coast's Point Cartwright, and reception at the Buderim Headland Golf Club. All morning the rain was threatening to increase from a slight drizzle to a strong downpour. Despite the forecast T+A who are both Christians prayed about going ahead at the ceremony location and went with their desire to get married on the beach they so LOVE! Oh and did we forget to mention that Amy is a surfer chick and sea-water is in her veins? You'll understood then why both her and Tim wanted to go ahead with their ceremony at the beach. As the storms moved away from the beach ceremony (woohoo!), Amy's uncle walked her down the grass aisle lined with frangipani's to her waiting husband-to-be Tim. Many family and friends had gathered to help celebrate T+A's love and commitment to each other. The great thing about T+A's ceremony location was that afterwards we didn't need to travel too far to get beautiful location shots for our couple in a location that they absolutely adore! We photographed T+A on the beach with the waves as a back drop and then brought them more towards the trees growing on the edge of the beach. Here we shot some more intimate portraits surrounded by the trees hanging foliage. There was lots of fun had on the beach with the bride and groom and their party, but also at the reception, with the couples speeches, the photo booth we set up, and lots of awesome dancing.
