We think engagement shoots should be fun, free of stress, and just a little bit silly. Luke + Teryn's engagement shoot was an expression of their fun personalities and that made for some beautiful and intimate portraits of their relationship. Our engagement shoot setting was Brisbane's Story Bridge as this was the place Luke proposed to Teryn just a few weeks ago. We don't want to spoil the rest of the story so we will let Teryn tell the tale of their love ... enjoy!

"When Luke first came to work with me it took him days to make eye contact, weeks to say hello, and if I'd waited for him to ask me out... well, you see where this is going. Luke isn't forward, so it's a lucky thing that I am! I'm the loud mouth and he's the thoughtful dreamer. That's one of the things I love most about him - he is just so kind and thoughtful and so full of love.
If you ask Luke what he loves about me he'd probably say my fiery attitude - it's our differences that make us click. He's the yin to my yang, the light of my life, and I'm blessed to have him in my life.
The proposal was perfect - well thought out, and a total surprise! We both LOVE burritos, so when Luke suggested date night at Beach Burrito Co in the valley I was all in - dressed and ready to go before he'd finished the sentence. We walked along the Story Bridge after dinner and it was so beautiful! The lights on the bridge were blue for the Greek Festival, the air was cool and the sky was clear.
Half way back across we stopped to take in the view of the city, and Luke dropped to one knee to ask me if I'd make him the happiest man in the world! I cried, eventually blubbered out a "yes!" And told everyone we passed on the way back to the car. I'm marrying the man of my dreams and my best friend, and I'll forever be grateful that I had the courage to talk to that shy new guy at work over two years ago. {Teryn}
