A couple of weeks ago I had the privilege to capture the Tan family in some beautiful winter light. Dad, mum and granny were joined by their sweet daughters who had lots of smiles, cheekiness and fun for me to photograph. I spent about an hour capturing this cool family as they showed some sunglasses style, but I also took a few moments to photograph these two Kiwi-born parents enjoying a traditional Newzealander kiss. These fun moments can be slightly more posed and setup but I love giving a family plenty of photos that are great for showing off around their home and enjoying for the years to come.
I do have an absolute favourite moment at these family photo sessions however and they are those fleeting and personal exchanges when my wonderful families forget I am even there, and I get a taste of the love they have for each other through their gestures and the way they hold their loves ones. I adore seeing the love that sticks a family together!
